Who Put the Bomp

Who Put the Bomp (in the Bomp, Bomp, Bomp) A little doo-wop music to lighten the mood 😉 This song was recorded by Barry Mann in 1961. He performed it on the Dick Clark ABC-TV Show.

Have You Ever Seen the Rain

From the 1970 Creedence Clearwater Revival album ‘Pendulum’  John Fogerty has written some great songs. This is one of my favorites!

95 and Vine

An amazing venue for live entertainment. 95 and Vine in Port Orange, Florida is the place to be. It was fun entertaining happy wine drinkers for three hours on a Saturday evening. Decided to mix it up with music across five decades many genres. https://www.facebook.com/95andvine/   Play That Funky Music – Wild Cherry (Sax Cover)…

Poetry Night at The Hub in New Smyrna Beach

It’s always a great evening at The Hub in New Smyrna, and this was no exception. The evening was filled with poetry and music. Given the date of this particular event, it seemed appropriate to start the evening with a stirring arrangement of Danny Boy.

Dream Weaver

A Gary Wright classic from 1975. Title song from ‘The Dream Weaver’ album 😉

Havana

Great Latin pop tune from Camila Cabello (2018). Havana, ooh na-na (ay) Half of my heart is in Havana, ooh-na-na (ay, ay)

Summertime

I really like the Ella Fitzgerald version of the George Gershwin classic (1934). Everyone from Billie Holiday to Willie Nelson has recorded this song 😉

My One and Only Love

This song originated in 1947, but didn’t catch on. The lyrics were rewritten and Sinatra recorded it in 1953. It has been performed by many of the greats… including Coltrane in 1963 and Sonny Rollins in 1964.
